2. What data do we collect?

We may collect and process the following personal data:

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number, address
  • Communication data: messages you send us via the contact form, email or phone
  • Device data: information about devices in your household (brand, model, software version) that we document as part of our services
  • Account data: login credentials and passwords you share with us for managing your devices (stored encrypted on local, offline storage — never on cloud servers or online systems)
  • Payment data: invoicing details and payment history
  • Website data: standard server logs maintained by our hosting provider (IP address, browser type, pages visited)

3. Why do we process your data? (Legal basis)

We process your personal data on the following legal grounds (Art. 6 GDPR):

  • Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): to deliver our services, subscriptions and the Digital Home Audit
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): for processing contact form data and for storing passwords/login credentials
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): to improve our services and to secure our systems
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): for bookkeeping and tax purposes

4. How long do we retain your data?

  • Client data: for the duration of the subscription plus 2 years after termination
  • Contact form data: up to 1 year after the last contact
  • Device and account data: deleted within 30 days after termination of the subscription
  • Financial data: 7 years (statutory retention obligation)

5. Do we share your data with third parties?

We do not share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. We may share data in the following cases:

  • With processors who provide services on our behalf (e.g. accounting software, hosting provider), with whom a data processing agreement has been concluded
  • When we are legally required to do so

We do not transfer personal data to countries outside the EEA. All customer data is stored locally in the Netherlands on offline, encrypted storage — not on cloud platforms or servers hosted abroad. This means your data is not subject to foreign legislation, such as the US CLOUD Act, and remains fully under Dutch and European jurisdiction.

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access — you may request which data we hold about you
  • Right to rectification — you may have inaccurate data corrected
  • Right to erasure — you may ask us to delete your data ('right to be forgotten')
  • Right to restriction — you may request that we temporarily cease processing
  • Right to data portability — you may receive your data in a commonly used format
  • Right to object — you may object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent
